The Overlook Lakes Condominium Association relies on the support of its elected Board Members and volunteer committees to maintain and improve our property. We are always looking for talented and enthusiastic owners to join the board or a committee. If you are interested, feel free to reach out to the committee chair person.

President - Forrest Bivens
1 year term ending May 2026
About Forrest
Forrest “Frosty” Bivens and his wife have lived at Overlook Lakes since 2010. He served 44 years as a Lutheran pastor and seminary professor and now works part-time, primarily as a continuing education instructor. He has been on the Finance Committee since 2015.
Vice President - Randy Green
3 year term ending May 2027
About Randy
Randy Green has lived at Overlook Lakes since 1997. He previously has served as a board member and was on the Building and Grounds Committee for many years. Randy retired after 34 years of teaching and currently works part time for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Secretary - Jim Kleist
2 year term ending May 2027
About Jim
Jim Kleist and his wife have lived at Overlook Lakes since 2008. He has served on the Building and Grounds Committee for the past year and was elected to his first term on the Board of Directors in 2019. Jim is retired from Wisconsin Lutheran High School were he served as the Superintendent and as the Executive Director of the WLHS Foundation.
Director - Eric Van Ert

About Eric
Eric moved to Greendale when he was 3 years old and over the past 70 years he has lived in 5 houses, 2 apartments, and now a condo...all in Greendale. He is a retired School Teacher where he was the School Librarian however he also taught Economics, Personal Finance and American Government. Eric spends much of his time managing his 2 four-family apartment buildings. Eric's wife, Claudette, is actively involved in the Community where she is the current VP of the Friends of the Greendale Public Library and manages donations and used book sales.

OLCA Board Members Roles & Expectations

Have you ever considered running for the OLCA Board of Directors but didn’t know what the OLCA Board actually does? Below you will find an outline of the roles and expectations of an OLCA Board Member. All owners are welcome and encouraged to run for the OLCA Board of Directors.
Board Member Role
The affairs of the Overlook Lakes Condominium Association shall be managed by a Board of Directors consisting of such number of persons as provided in the By-Laws. Members of the Board of Directors may be elected to 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year terms of service.
Expectations of the Board Member
- All members of the OLCA BOD (Board of Directors) shall be current owners and residents of Overlook Lakes Condos and current in their dues.
- All members of the OLCA BOD shall complete a Candidate Nomination for the Board of Directors form and return it to the Overlook Lakes office at least 10-days prior to the Associations Annual Meeting.
- Attends and participates in all regularly scheduled Board meetings. Meetings are normally held monthly on the third Wednesday at 6:15pm at the Overlook Lakes Office. The date and time are subject to change as it suits the requirements of the Board membership. Occasionally, by unanimous agreement of Board members, a Board meeting may be cancelled.
- Prepares for and actively participates in the discussion of OLCA business during the regularly scheduled meetings. Board members should be proficient in the use of email and the sharing of electronic documents (Word, Excel, PDF).
- Board members must have a working knowledge of, and agree to abide by and enforce the OLCA Declarations of Condominium, By-laws and all Rules currently in force.
- Actively participates in email exchanges among the members of the BOD between regularly scheduled meetings. These email exchanges normally involve actions required for timely decisions on behalf of OLCA residents.
- Board members need to be able to work with Word, Excel and PDF documents.
- Willing to accept additional tasks or projects as needed or as directed by the President of the BOD.
- Willing to and capable of serving a one-year term as President, Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer if needed. Officers are elected by the Board within two-weeks of the Annual Meeting.
