OLCA is Finally Going to Get a Bath
I has been a long time, 30 plus years, but OLCA is finally going to get a bath! Beginning Monday, June 22, all condo buildings will be pressure washed by Stooges Exterior Services. This is the same company that you may have seen pressure washing the apartments. The dates shown below are subject to change, as they cannot pressure wash during rainstorms.
The four buildings being painted this year (21, 22, 23 & 48) will be pressure washed sometime mid-July to allow ample time for the paint to cure. When an exact date is known you will be notified by email.
Please note that the entire building is going to be washed, including windows, patios, balconies, garage doors and sidewalks. Please make sure ALL your windows are closed while your building is being washed. All items must be removed from your patio(s), or balcony, by 7:00 am the day your building is scheduled to be washed. If there are items left on the patio or balcony, the patio or balcony will not be washed. As our contract with Stooges Exterior Services covers specific areas, please do not ask the crew to pressure wash any additional items.
If you need your car the day your building is being washed, please leave it outside, but not in front of the garage. The area in front of the garage must remain clear while the building is being washed. You may use guest parking, or if necessary, park on the odd address side of Woodbridge, or either side of Westlake. (If you don’t mind a short walk, there are a dozen open guest parking spots behind building 24).
While the chemicals being used are safe, you are advised not to have your pet “do their business” outside, or walk them, within 100 feet of the building, for at least 24 hours after it has been washed. Be advised that the building(s) next to you may also have been washed the same day as yours.
Tentative Schedule is as Follows:
- Monday, June 22: Buildings 24, 25, 26, 27
- Tuesday, June 23: Buildings 28, 29, 30, 31
- Wednesday, June 24: Buildings 32, 33, 34, 35
- Thursday, June 25: Buildings 36, 37, 38, 39
- Friday, June 26: Buildings 40, 41, 42, 43
- Saturday, June 27: Buildings 44, 45, 46, 47
Owners in buildings 40, 41, 42 & 43 must move their trash and recycle containers to the end of their driveways, away from the garage doors, for the June 26 trash/recycle service.
