Greendale Health Department Offers Myriad Services to Residents

The Mission of the Greendale Health Department (GHD) is to assess and protect the wellbeing of the community, by supplying accurate health information, building collaborative partnerships, and providing services that enhance health, prevent illness, and increase the resilience of our residents, especially the most vulnerable in our village. Several Overlook Lakes residents volunteer with the GHD.

Free or low cost services available to residents of Greendale.

  • “Call a Nurse”: Have a question, looking for resources, or information? Call or stop by the Health Department to talk with a Public Health Nurse.
  • Blood Pressure Assessment: Please call for an appointment for a free screening.
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Testing: Need a TB skin test for work? Please call for an appointment.
  • Public Health Nurse Visits: Public Health Nurses are available to provide health information and resources on a variety of topics. Call to set up a free appointment at the health department or in your home.
  • Vaccinations: Limited adult vaccines are available. Please call regarding eligibility and to make an appointment or to discuss immunization recommendations.
  • Environmental Health: Stop by the Health Department to discuss the Radon home screening program. The Health Department is also responsible for animal bite follow-up.
